About this stone
A rich golden-yellow travertine with ochre and honey bands running across the stone and scattered natural holes, some of them large. It brings strong warmth to a room and pairs well with dark wood, wrought iron and white walls.
It works best on feature walls, cladding, floors and stairs. Indoors the holes are filled for a smooth, cleanable surface; outside, a tumbled or brushed finish keeps it less slippery underfoot. Like all travertine it is sensitive to acids, so it does not suit kitchen countertops. Its colour is strong and changes from one block to the next, so choose all the pieces for one space together and lay them out before fixing.
Care
Seal after fixing and renew every year or two. Wash with water and a neutral cleaner, and keep lemon, vinegar and strong detergents off the surface.
