About this stone
A honey-gold stone crossed by chocolate-brown veins that branch like tree limbs, with a few thin white streaks. Although it often sits on granite lists, it is a marble, and it looks most at home as a single large feature: a wall behind a basin, a TV wall or a table top where the veins can be seen whole.
It is softer than granite and reacts to lemon, vinegar and some cleaners, which leave dull marks on a polished face. It works best on feature walls, cladding, vanities and furniture. The honest caveat: it is not a good choice for a kitchen countertop or outdoor use, and the veining changes a lot from slab to slab.
Care
Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and wipe spills quickly. Seal on installation and again every year.
