About this stone

Tiger Skin mixes gold, cream and rust swirls with scattered dark brown patches, giving a counter a warm, moving surface. It suits kitchens with dark wood, cream or brown cabinets, and it brings colour without needing a patterned splashback.

It is a hard granite that copes with heat and everyday cooking, and the busy pattern hides crumbs and small marks. It works on countertops, vanity tops, table tops and sills. The honest caveat: the dark patches are part of the stone and vary in size and placement, and some slabs have natural fissures filled at the factory, so check the full slab and where the patches will fall before cutting.

Care

Wipe spills promptly with warm water and mild soap, and reseal roughly once a year. Avoid acidic and abrasive cleaners.
