About this stone
Rosso Levanto is a dark wine-red stone made of broken fragments locked together by fine white veins, with the odd fleck of green. On a wall or a tabletop it reads rich and theatrical, and it sits well with brass, dark wood and calm cream stone around it.
It works as a single statement rather than a whole floor: a feature wall, a dining or console top, an inlay or border in a cream floor, or a fireplace surround. The white veins are natural seams, so slabs often carry resin-filled fissures, and a polished face will dull where acids touch it.
Care
Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and keep lemon, vinegar and strong sprays off it. Reseal about once a year, more often on a tabletop.
