About this stone
A deep green-black granite scattered with golden and olive flecks, so the surface looks almost black from across the room and shows its warmth up close. It sits well with wood cabinets, brass handles and cream walls, and it hides crumbs and water marks on a busy kitchen countertop.
It is a hard, dense stone that takes heat and daily cutting without fuss, and it polishes to a deep shine. It works best on kitchen countertops, vanities and window sills. One honest caveat: a large dark floor can make a small room feel heavy, and polished stairs get slippery when wet, so choose a leathered or honed finish there.
Care
Wipe with warm water and mild soap. Reseal every year or two, and avoid bleach on the polished face.
