About this stone
Rosa Marwa is a warm pinkish-beige granite with a fine, sparse dark speckle. It is quiet rather than busy, so it sits well on window sills, stairs and walls, where a coarse, spotty granite would look crowded up close. In daylight it takes on a soft rosy warmth.
It is hard, weathers well and holds its colour in the sun, which makes it a steady choice for sills, thresholds, outdoor steps and cladding, as well as indoor floors and kitchen countertops. It resists scratches and heat. The caveat is its colour: in some light it reads more tan-brown than pink, so view a sample in the room where it will go.
Care
Wipe with water and a neutral cleaner. Seal indoor polished surfaces and wipe oil or coffee spills promptly.
