About this stone
Triesta is a pale, slightly warm beige with hairline veins you only notice up close. From a few steps away the floor or wall looks like one calm, soft surface, which suits bedrooms, bathrooms and living rooms that want warmth without a busy pattern. With a brushed or antique finish it takes on a natural, sandy texture that feels good underfoot.
It is still marble. A polished face scratches and etches with lemon, vinegar and harsh cleaners, and a pale stone shows stains sooner. Textured finishes hide wear better on stairs and in wet areas. It is not a good match for a kitchen countertop.
Care
Clean with a neutral stone soap; on textured finishes use a soft brush. Seal after fitting and reseal every year or so.
