About this stone
Grey Aswan is a neutral mid-grey granite with an even black and white speckle. It does not pull attention, so it works where you want the stone to stay in the background: stairs in a residential building, a garage ramp, the path around a garden, or window sills on a grey or white facade.
It is hard enough for heavy daily traffic, and flamed or bush-hammered it gives reliable grip outdoors. Polished, it can also serve as a simple kitchen countertop. The caveat: from block to block the grey can run lighter or bluer, so match the pieces for one staircase or floor before they are cut.
Care
Wipe with warm water and a mild soap, and avoid acid or bleach cleaners. Outdoor flamed surfaces only need washing with water and a stiff brush.
