About this stone

The same Turkish Noce travertine, cut the other way. Here the block is sawn along its natural layers instead of across them, so you look at the face of a layer, like an open page, rather than its edges. The result is a soft, cloudy, flower-like pattern in tan and khaki tones with small holes, often called flower or fleuri cut.

With no strong lines, the laying direction matters less and tiles blend easily across large floors and outdoor areas. Holes are filled for interiors and can stay open with a tumbled finish around pools. It reacts to acids like all travertine, and the pattern varies more from tile to tile than the vein cut does.

Care

Seal after installation and every year or two after that. Clean with water and a neutral stone cleaner, never with acids or bleach.
