About this stone
A grey-brown marble with a fine, even web of white veins. Next to Spanish Dark Emperador it reads cooler and softer, closer to taupe than chocolate, which makes it easy to pair with grey or off-white walls and modern fittings.
It works on floors, stairs, cladding, vanities and window sills, and the fine veining keeps large floors from looking flat. The colour varies between blocks, from lighter grey-brown to deeper tones, so it is worth choosing all the slabs for one space together. As a marble it is softer than granite and marks with acidic spills.
Care
Mop with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and keep grit off the floor. Reseal once a year.
