About this stone

Verde Ghazal Light is the lighter grade of the Ghazal granite. In the swatch the ground is pale cream to soft gold, with rounded crystals ringed in grey-green and scattered black flecks. The green is gentle up close and comes through more across a whole wall or floor than in a small sample.

It is a hard, weather-proof granite, well suited to kitchen countertops, stairs and wall cladding, and it also works for floors, window sills and outdoor areas. It handles heat and everyday scratching without fuss, and the busy crystal hides crumbs and dust. Being light, it can darken where oil or tea sit on an unsealed surface, and the tone varies between slabs, so compare pieces side by side.

Care

Clean with warm water and a neutral cleaner, never vinegar or bleach. Keep it sealed, especially on countertops and indoor floors.
