About this stone
This stone has a warm ivory ground with long diagonal streaks of grey and olive gold. It feels softer and warmer than the bright white Calacatta look, and sits well with wood cabinets, brass fittings and beige walls.
As a marble it is softer than granite or quartz. It can scratch, lemon and vinegar etch a polished surface, and oil or coffee can darken it if left to soak. The warm ground hides light dust and water marks better than a pure white. It suits bathroom vanities, wall cladding, floors and furniture tops. For a kitchen countertop, a honed finish and good sealing make daily marks less obvious, but they will still appear.
Care
Seal it before use and reseal regularly. Wipe acidic and oily spills straight away and clean with a neutral stone cleaner.
