About this stone
Agate grows in concentric bands, so each slice is a set of rings cut at its own angle. In this panel whole slices sit side by side, from deep navy to pale sky blue, many with white crystal centres and a thin golden edge. No two panels come out the same.
The pattern is strong, so one panel often carries the whole design: a backlit feature wall, a bar front, a reception desk or a table top. It is not suited to floors, kitchen worktops or outdoor use.
Care
These panels are stone pieces set in resin on a backing board, so they are more delicate than a solid slab: protect them from knocks, heavy loads and sharp objects. Wipe with a soft damp cloth and a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid acids, scouring pads and hot pans, and keep the panel out of strong direct sun, which can age the resin over time.
Better avoided for
- Floors
- Kitchen countertops
- Outdoor & facades
- Stairs
- Sills & thresholds
