About this stone
A deep black marble crossed by sharp white veins, some as fine threads and some as wider streaks. In a home it reads as crisp and graphic, and it sits well beside brass, dark wood and plain white walls. Polished, the black turns glossy; honed, it softens to a quiet charcoal.
It suits bathroom vanities, feature walls, stair treads and floors in dry rooms. Every slab has its own vein layout, so it is worth seeing the actual slab before cutting. As a marble it is softer than granite: lemon, vinegar and acidic cleaners leave dull marks, and those marks show clearly on black.
Care
Wipe with warm water and a pH-neutral stone cleaner, and dry spills quickly. Reseal once a year, more often on a vanity or countertop.
