About this stone
Mugla White has a white ground washed with soft grey clouds and short, faint veins. It looks close to Carrara from a distance, but calmer and less lined, which suits large floors, bathroom walls and stairs where a gentle, even look is wanted.
It is a calcite marble. It can scratch, acids etch a polished surface, and oil or coffee may stain if not wiped. Shade can vary between blocks, so take a whole area from one batch and check slabs side by side. It works well indoors on floors, stairs, window sills and vanities. As a kitchen countertop it behaves like any white marble and will show etching over time.
Care
Seal after installation and reseal periodically. Clean with a neutral stone cleaner and avoid vinegar, lemon and bleach.
